Per is VP, strategic alliances, with responsibility for supplier & government relationships and strategic planning in IMS Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). His primary areas of focus are on developing partnership relations with key suppliers, building complementary data sources, and improving the capture of trade dynamics. Securing industry best privacy compliance and developing services back to data sources are an intrinsic part of this role.
Prior to joining IMS over 6 years ago Per worked for Pharmacia, initially with line responsibility for building a US-based medical device business and latterly in strategic development, which included several major mergers and acquisitions. Per began his career at the leading telecommunications supplier, Ericsson, where he progressed through the company with increasing responsibilities in operations and development.
Per holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc in engineering from Lund’s Institute of Technology.
