10th Annual US ISPOR Conference

To what extent has pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research improved health care decision making over the last ten years? That was the overriding question under debate at ISPOR's annual conference in Washington DC in May 2005. Complementing the main discussions on the strengths and deficiencies of health economics research today was a parallel IMS symposium on issues in the analysis of health care databases, with a particular focus on patient and treatment selection.
