ISPOR 13th Annual International Meeting, Toronto

IMS Health will have a significant presence at ISPOR in Toronto, Canada this year.  In support of our Health Economics and Outcomes Research practice, IMS will be hosting a symposium as well as presenting several posters.

This year's symposium, "Why does Medication Noncompliance Persist? Multiple Stakeholders Chart a Research Agenda for the 21st Century," will feature an interactive and dynamic discussion on the body of research related to noncompliance, why progress has been slow, and the keys to significantly improving medication compliance at the health system level.  The symposium will be moderated by Jonothan Tierce, General Manager and Center of Excellence Leader, Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research, IMS Consulting; speakers include Joshua S. Benner, PharmD, ScD, Principal, IMS Health, Health Economics & Outcomes Research, and Richard A. Feifer, MD, MPH, Vice President of Program Development, Care Enhancing Solutions, Medco Health Solutions, Inc.

IMS will also present 30 posters covering subjects such as persistence and compliance, economic burden and cost effectiveness of treatment, as well as conduct three workshops, one issue panel and host a an advisory board presentation with a Canadian HEOR specialist.
